Role Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Material and Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that materials and components are available to meet production schedules while optimizing inventory levels. You will work closely with Procurement, Production, Project Management, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operations across departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and R&D projects
  • Plan and manage material requirements to ensure on-time availability of components for production
  • Monitor and update MRP in the ERP system (Priority), including work orders and inventory status
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to follow up on material availability and resolve shortages
  • Communicate with the relevant stake-holders and manufacturing to align material and production planning with project timelines
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors in the field of electronics manufacturing (e.g., SMT/PCBA) to ensure production schedules and quality requirements are met
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as delivery performance, material availability, and inventory turnover
  • Identify and implement improvements in planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

  • Bsc in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven hands-on experience (3+ years) in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems – Priority is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
